Decap' four

Was in the lab. yesterday. With me there was Kelke, who was preparing fresh ashes just erupted from Mont Tongariro last Monday (little eruption, all good). And Nellie was cleaning her glassware (=verrerie, note pour Jean). She experiments on various metal and compound. So she gets to clean with v. strong vapour. Wont give the recipe, but you boil bright orange, and it's clean when the orange vapour clears. Its the vapour that gets into each little kinks (=recoins) in the glass. Dissolving the grease and precipitate. See for yourself.
