Shape shifting... maybe?

Windy out there. Ain't looking like I'm likely to catch a sunburn.
Perfect.

I'll spend the morning experimenting another blog/website layout using Wordpress.
It's more renovation than innovation, since that's were I started the MnMs blog. Wordpress has a lot to ofer as a web/blogging resource. Even if at this stage I won't be accessing the "full potential". I'm hoping to get a little added functionality, and create an environment with increased interactions. Well, at least from this end :-).

When Rachel left, she gave me some cash and said to use it for me. Well, it tooks me some time, but here we are. I've got myself another, smaller camera. It was time to face it, the other one won over me, so I got revenge by ripping its SD card out. Guess was too complicated for me.
New-click is bloodred  ( I was thinking strawberry, but was told by Mstr Shifu that I dress like Lisbeth Salander - granted I had a white skull t-shirt to meet the new marketing person and freshly blued hair strands...).
So, it's cheery strawberry red. Suits me, getting lost can be worded as "visiting the strawberry fields" in my native language. Just my plan.

If you were visiting the inside of my head right now, that's what you'd see.
A couple of objectives (getting more out of the pages, initiating monthly picture grids, back to experiments???). A really warm warm sun (back-shining you mostly). A few technical problem to solve to get there (guess who will upgrade to snow leopard soon, hey that up to 2011; something I need to solve about USB1.0, 3.0 and speed limits for data transfer. Software failure).

Got a couple of hour to work a little to make it in testing form.
Then.
Then I might ask you guys for feedback.
No point changing to improve my comm strategy if you think it's awful.

So, the -possible- new link is here

Yours truly,

The Red Cyclop

Rose

All I'll remember will be your bright smile, in between your princess and your Prince.
Hope you're seeing the stars from above, like you brought them to us.

The ghost of you

You know that time, you're totally into something (was painting a bathroom white) and that song (could be any song, just have to be yours) comes up on the radio. Before you realise you head picked back the rythm and your lips start forming the words you forgot. And yes. Brought back someone. A muse. Brought you back musing.
Oh well would say the silverblade pirate I know.
Have some rum.

Petit a petit

Been to the Matariki expo, the symbol of the seven stars (Les pleiades, now visible in our sky) to celebrate a new year. Walked in blackclad corridor with xmas lights and stars. Exchange uplifting message in woven ketis (panier de "flax" tresse). Got something that said "every little things matters". Watched the altar/shrine, dedicated to the people that are not there anymore.
Also, started pulling the wallpaper down in my very pink bathroom. Looks in progress but now I don't feel like I live in a "moltonel" world. Played electrician on Sunday morning. I'm only confident that one of the two lamps is not an electrical hazard. You live and you learn hey?

And of course, someone chopped some wood over the week end.

Pressure

Thinking.
Strapping the pipe with ultrasonic sensor.
Low pressure signal, examine the pipework.
Chemical precipitation features.
Rust lines.
Striking a match.

Thinking.
Partially filled veins, everything else is there,
Only a heart-shaped closed cavity.
Echoing another chest.
Copper soldering.
Light a Lucky Strike

Thinking.
Black ink will do, since there is no other way.
Pressure's gonna have to be restored.
Black-hearted girl.
Butterfly valves.
Come back, inhale.

Catch me

"Now when you work it out I’m worse than you
Yeah when you work it out I want it too
Now when you work out where to draw the line
Your guess is as good as mine"

Mists

Winter lakeshore, sometimes it looks like water and fog are blended and boats appear floating out of nowhere. Mano's hosting the cough germ. I harbour its running nose counterpart. I know exactly what these germs are thinking snowing my brain to hide their thoughts. They are thinking about exchanging hosts over the week end.

3 doors down

I haven't told you. Who lives three doors down from my office. I made the grin. Conny added the hat. His is chin reach about 5 cm above mine. At nighttime, lights low, the impression is kind of superlasting.

Three doors down -Kryptonite

for those who wanna know, this is what Brad is rocking about:

"Kryptonite"

I took a walk around the world
To ease my troubled mind
I left my body laying somewhere
In the sands of time
But I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon

I feel there is nothing I can do, yeah

I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be
Something to do with you
I really don’t mind what happens now and then
As long as you’ll be my friend at the end

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I’m alive and well, will you be
There a-holding my hand
I’ll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite

You called me strong, you called me weak,
But still your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times
I never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head,
If not for me then you'd be dead
I picked you up and put you back
On solid ground

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I’m alive and well,
Will you be there a-holding my hand
I’ll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I’m alive and well, will you be there
Holding my hand
I’ll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite
Yeah!!

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well,
Will you be there a-holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman might
Kryptonite
Yeah!!

Minguinho

Hey, Minguinho. It's been awhile I haven't seen you. 25 years? Possibly. Still, your name came directly from my deep in my memory.
Any of you read "my sweet orange tree"  written by Jose Mauro de Vasconcelos? Zeze, a 5 year old for a poor family in Brazil. The hardship at home. The friendship of Portuga. The accident. And his only friend and confident. Minguinho, the tree.

Minguinho, I have a story to tell you. I have searched. How the words would fit. How the pictures would draw. The right people to address. I can't. I tried, to give it, but I can't.

Here, Minguinho, there's mostly you and me.

Minguinho, that story takes place faraway. There are no roots over-there, Minguino. There is water. As far as the eye can see. Water that is not fit to drink. And sometimes, that water is enraged, and there is no safety on her. And sometimes, after the storm, there is respite.
